Config 2021 Styled Him Chief Design Officer. That Is an Event Bio, Not an 8-K.

Figma Config 2021 listed Dantley Davis as “Chief Design Officer at Twitter,” leading design and research. The same speaker page said that before Twitter he led product design at Facebook for Stories, News Feed, and Video; spent seven years at Netflix on television and mobile experiences; and received an undergraduate degree and an MBA from the University of San Francisco. That is a conference biography. It is not a Twitter, Inc. Form 8-K.

The archived Config schedule put him in a closing keynote on April 22, 2021, titled “Turning adversity into impact.” Figma’s blog later published a Q&A tied to that talk. Those pages are useful for how he and the conference styled the job. They do not lock the SEC-filed title. When Twitter filed on December 3, 2021, the 8-K called him “Design and Research Lead.”

Treat the Facebook and Netflix lines as the speaker bio’s claims. This file does not upgrade them into employer press releases. PayPal, SAP, Yahoo, and Trion Worlds appear on secondary aggregators; they are not treated here as verified by employer PR.

A conference will print the biggest title you will let them print. The 8-K printed a smaller one. Readers should keep both on the table and not pretend they are the same document.
