On April 14, 2022, Fast Company’s Mark Wilson reported that Nike had hired Dantley Davis as vice president of digital design. The piece said Davis made the announcement on Twitter that day and that “Nike has since confirmed his hire.” It recapped his Twitter tenure, including that he had “faced accusations of fostering a hostile workplace” and “was subsequently let go in a reorg.” Those recap verbs are Fast Company’s. The 8-K said “stepping down” in an organizational change. This file does not upgrade “let go” into a for-cause finding.
The same article pointed back to Wilson’s 2021 profile for Netflix interface claims and called Davis “the first chief design officer at Twitter (and the company’s first Black executive to report to the CEO).” Again: magazine historical claims, not an EEO exhibit.
No Nike Form 8-K naming Davis was located in this pass. Confirmation, as printed, is Fast Company reporting a company confirmation. That is enough to record the announcement. It is not a securities filing.
